È situato a Valbrembo, sulla sponda orientale del fiume Brembo, a soli 16 km dal residence, esteso su 126.000 mq di verde a disposizione degli animali e di chi vuole conoscerli. Il nome del parco deriva da un toponimo locale, che indica i sassi del fiume levigati dalla corrente, mentre è Angelo Ferruccio Benedetti che nel 1981 realizza un parco che accoglie gli animali in ampi spazi di libertà e favorisce l'incontro tra uomo e animale. Alle Cornelle ci sono recinzioni semplici e staccionate basse che permettono ai visitatori di avvicinarsi il più possibile allo spazio degli animali. Nel Parco si entra rigorosamente a piedi, e seguendo un itinerario ideale si può vivere un'esperienza di tipo didattico ed emozionante, incontrando animali che arrivano da ogni parte del mondo. Numerosi uccelli volano liberi e accolgono i visitatori all'ingresso. Le numerose nascite sono una testimonianza della qualità di vita nel Parco.
